Every two years, the International Council for Coaching Excellence (ICCE) brings together coaches, coach developers, researchers, sport scientists, technical directors and sport administrators to address issues in coaching, to learn about new coaching research, and to share experiences with the top coaching development experts in the world.

Singapore has been awarded the hosting rights to this most prestigious coaching conference in the world – 14 th  ICCE Global Coach Conference (GCC), which makes the city the first in Southeast Asia and only the third in Asia to host the GCC.

The 14th ICCE GCC will take place from 29th November to 3rd December 2023, with the theme: “Coaching for a Better Tomorrow”. The main focus will continue to be on effective coaching practice, coach learning and development, coaching policy and systems, and inclusivity but with a view of preparing coaches better for a future that is volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous, hyper-connected and technologically advanced (VUCAH+). This is really a great opportunity for the Singapore sporting and coaching community to learn from the best coaches in the world, network with others from around the globe and to share our own experiences.

We will be having the following renowned keynote speakers:

  • Michael Dunlap, American Professional Basketball Coach
  • Etienne and Beverly Wenger-Trayner, Social Learning Theorists and Consultants
  • Natalie Barker-Ruchti, Associate Professor in Sport Management and Sport Coaching, Orebro University
  • Ross Pinder, Paralympic Innovation Lead, Paralympic Australia
  • Michelle de Highden, Senior Coach Development Lead, Australian Institute of Sport
  • Claire Lamb, Women in Sport Lead, Rowing Ireland
