Appointment of Co-Opt member to the Volleyball Association of Singapore Council

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Miss Lua Hui Chun Angela as co-opt member of the VAS Council with immediate effect.

Angela was a National Volleyball athlete from 1989 to 1993 and represented Singapore in three editions of the South East Asian (SEA) Games (’89, ’91, ’93). Given her playing experience, Angela will be primarily supporting the Vice President (High Performance) in executing the indoor pipeline development initiative. This pipeline development initiative is one of the key focus areas for the Association in 2020.

We strongly believe that ex-High Performance athletes are well-placed to help support the High Performance programmes of the Association. Please join us in welcoming Angela and wishing her all the best in her role with the Association.

We look forward to the continued support from the fraternity as we progressively build up the capabilities of the Association and working towards a brighter future for Singapore Volleyball.

Angela is married with two children and is working in pharmaceutical supply chain management.
